Joining DeviantArt I think has been good for me! I'm suddenly coming up with all these ideas of things to draw, some of which I wrote down as soon as I could.
On the other hand...I have a tendency to dream big and be good at conceptualizing something, and then fail in the actual delivery/output. This has been true in my graphic and web design as well. And I tend to be frustrated about it because I am three times a perfectionist (I have Asperger's, I'm the eldest child, and I'm a Scorpio - all three of which are known for perfectionism!). So I'm afraid that I'll have all these ideas and not be able to follow through with them.
Anyway, here are my ideas:
-An athletic-looking heroine for =Kxhara's "Fat" Female Superhero Contest. Because I agree, superheroines don't have to be stick-thin. My idea for this is to draw Sailor Grimm, this otaku senshi I thought of a long time ago and just remembered recently.

-Other stuff related to Sailor Grimm
-Something anti-Peeta Mellark-related. This is for the "_ Weeks and Counting" contest I found out about at the official Google+ page for The Hunger Games. Those who win get a prize pack with The Hunger Games DVD, a T-shirt, a mockingjay pin, some other pin set, 1 movie poster, and the Training Days board games. (Thanks to mockingjay.net for info on the prize contents). The current challenge theme ("3 Weeks and Counting") is Peeta. Now to be honest, I absolutely hated Peeta the whole way through the book trilogy, and the movie didn't make me hate him any less (though he WAS well-acted; I will give him credit there). So I think I will do something anti-Peeta for this. The only idea I had was something poster-like with a bust of him and the text "Peeta Mellark should have died in that arena." But that sounds too cruel. What do you guys think?

-Meme-related stuff (if that's even allowed on DeviantArt...it certainly is on Tumblr and Pinterest). Been wanting to do one for Ellis from SMASH ever since Mashable suggested it and even provided a base for people to use. (Those of you who have seen SMASH will know Ellis is a Class-A jerk and is the character most fans of that show, myself included, love to hate). Also maybe something related to the "Hey I just met you and this is crazy" meme. - Think I'll save that for Tumblr
-An idea I just had tonight: a crossover between Sailor Moon and NBC's Grimm (inspired by imagined possible confusion over Sailor Grimm's name). Scrapped idea.
-Other Sailor Moon crossovers Not really wanting to do this after all.
-A number of ideas for short Sailor Moon live musical (a.k.a. SeraMyu)-inspired comics (most likely 4-panels or something like that), including one where fan favorite character Vampir (a half-human, half-vampire) reads Twilight and hates it, and one where Kuroki Marina (the 4th and currently last Moon) has a bad dream the night before her debut for the fans at the Black Lady fankan, in which the other Moon actresses appear. A cool idea, but not really into it anymore.
Besides these, I will upload the rest of my printmaking pieces (the ones I have anyway) as well as any other graphic design stuff I deem worthy of posting (some of my stuff isn't that great) and the "manga drawing practice" pieces I have so far. So stay tuned!
P.S. The game I mention in the footer is a new Facebook game made by Moonscoop and the other creators of Code Lyoko. I finally started playing it tonight - it's pretty fun! (And I don't usually play social games, so this is big coming from me...but I am not getting paid to say anything here.)

Long time no update
Hey guys, sorry I haven't updated in a while!
I have various drawings from my manga practice still to scan; I hope to put those up ASAP.
I would like to do more drawings of Sailor Grimm and Sailor Buttercream Sparkle, possibly even using this Sai tool everybody talks about, or Sta.sh. Or Illustrator, since I should probably learn Illustrator anyway.
Also I want to finish the drawing ideas in my "Brimming with ideas" posts (one and two).
Music Land Maestress is on the back burner right now because I had a really bad time with it for JaNoWriMo. I hope to return to it soon.
I may start doing Doctor Who fanart, including art of Alyson "Alys"
I DID IT!
Sorry I've been kinda scarce here everybody. Been kinda busy with NaNoWriMo and all.
But all my hard work paid off. I WON!!
30 days and 52,917 words (53,084 according to the NaNo validator, which is always off of the word count Microsoft Word gives). I am in utter shock, still, days later. I mean this was my first time doing NaNo, and I went into it wanting to win, but I honestly doubted I would, considering how I fell very behind three times.
Anyway just wanted to share the news with you all!
NaNo in Progress
So it's currently Day 5 of NaNoWriMo. I am on chapter 3 of my novel and have written over 7,000 words so far (as of this morning). What?!
You can follow my progress at NaNo's website or at my writing blog, To Walden and Beyond!.
The project is going pretty well, though I admit yesterday and today, days that I didn't have to work, I don't think I felt as motivated. But I'm chugging along.
I have a lot of prep stuff to do still, stuff I didn't finish before NaNo started. Hoping to catch up on that today, since I spent most of my day yesterday organizing my writing-related internet bookmarks in Firefox and Chrome (not really using IE that muc
Music Land Maestress for NaNoWriMo
Ok, so I made a decision which might end up being potentially risky. Well, maybe risky isn't the right word.
Ok, I'll just say it...I decided to work on my Music Land Maestress story for NaNoWriMo.
For those of you who have no idea what that is, let me explain. NaNoWriMo stands for "National Novel Writing Month." It is an annual event which is run by the non-profit organization The Office of Letters and Light. They also run the Young Writers' Program (a kids' and teens' version of NaNoWriMo), ScriptFrenzy (a script version of NaNoWriMo that happens in April), and its newest program, a summer version of NaNoWriMo called Camp NaNoWriMo that r
